Go to AvantLinker Configuration and set up your settings from AvanLink. This assumes that you are already an affiliate with their network. Put a couple of keywords in the Related Products section that relate to merchants that you have signed up with.
Now go to Add Content and select the Avant content type and put up some content. The setup leaves other content types open for content that you don't want to associate with affiliate promotion.
If you are using the GrandFoo distribution profile then you should already have the Pathauto module active and your URL for this first piece of content will look human readable. If not you should install and activate the Pathauto and Token modules.
Once you make this post live you will see the Product Search form and the display of some Related Products. Notice: You will not see AvantLinker tools displayed on the front page.
